Are you a sales professional with a zeal to interact with partners and manage key accounts?

Our Client, established in 2010, has shaken the market with traditional Indian drinks. The idea of selling traditional drinks packaged was one of the most innovative ideas in the Indian market and it is today among the fastest growing brands in the FMCG space.

As the Area Sales Manager Key Accounts, you will be responsible for the sales performance of your distribution channel in Chennai and for developing and maintaining positive long term relationships with our key retail partners

Your responsibilities include:

Establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base
Developing sales strategies and setting targets
Planning, implementing and monitoring annual drive-plan for the whole territory as an entrepreneurial manager
Managing Key Accounts and expand the relationships with existing customers with solutions that meet their objectives
Owning responsibility for all promotional activities in the territory
Preparing comprehensive business plans and breakdown of primary and secondary targets for the team
Monitoring team performance and motivating them to reach targets
Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market

FMCG Channel Management:
  • Managing distributors and dealers, right from their appointment to their ongoing coordination, business relationship and sales performance
  • Developing strong analytical, tactical and organizational skills for channel partners
  • Monitoring competitor activities and devising effective counter measures

Team management:
  • End-to-end responsibility of managing 2 -3 Area Sales Executive in the team and for driving sales and performance against targets
  • Conducting review meetings and effecting continuous improvements
  • Conceptualizing and implementing incentive schemes and maximizing their impact
  • Establishing comprehensive geographic coverage for the territory
  • Creating new potential retailer points for the company
  • Ensuring best in class in-store execution and compliance


Salary: INR 3,00,000 - 5,00,000 P.A.

  • Team handling experience would be a plus
  • Ability to track and report using Excel
  • Thrives on challenges
  • Flexible for extensive travel within the region
  • Strong Communication Skills
