Job Description

Our client is a social education technology organisation delivering enjoyable & personalised digital learning to schools, NGOs, coaching institutes and learners including the last mile learners. They design, deliver and support tablet and mobile based digital learning solutions with English medium and local languages. Their vision is to facilitate access to enjoyable and life shaping digital learning to every student irrespective of their social, economic, cultural, locational and language status.

Founded by two MDI alumnus, it is a student centric and personalised learning platform that delivers enjoyable learning content as per the state boards. This ed-tech provides a solution which is easy to use, lets students enjoy learning, makes life easy for a teacher and delivers learning in the language that students are most comfortable. The organisation has worked in 14 states across India and awarded Google India under "Impacting Change through Digital".

AsContent Writer and Blog Manager, youshall owning up content writing and publishing in an integrated way and experiment with most innovative strategies to communicate the varied aspects of our work and brand expression.

What you will do:
  • Building a very deep understanding of the education technology sector, various products offered by us, their features, benefits, finer innovative points
  • Writing short/medium/ long pieces on every single aspect of the industry, latest developments and the value aspects of our work regularly
  • Ideating creatives and fresh/ humour/ awareness based thoughts related to education, life, way forward and all other aspects of work. We wish to have creatives as a key means of sharing and spreading content.
  • Aligning yourself with the thought process of the founding team and express the thoughts very dynamically into content
  • Writing blogs for official blog page on website, and growing the blog for growing readership in segment.
  • Writing articles to be published in third party portals and building continuous association and credibility with them.
  • Continuously identifying such third party portals, connecting with them and getting our articles published
  • Proof Reading and fine tuning every article or writing up written and posted related to the company and ensuring it aligns with our brand identity and overall content objectives.
  • End to end managing the newsletter - email ID listing, writing, publishing and analysing the response
  • Managing the blog Page
  • Keep updating the previous blogs to make them more relevant today
  • Identifying new themes on which we can write
  • Distributing the blog so as to increase the readership in our target audience
  • Experimenting new and most innovative ways of enhancing content driven brand building and business growth
  • Continuously sharing the latest developments related to the content writing segment, keeping yourself updated and using the new strategies to sharpen our content driven growth

Required Candidate profile

What you need to have:

Location:Work from home
  • Excellent storytelling capability

  • Comprehending Skills to understand the overall brand objective for writing and content management.

  • Very good command over English

  • A sense of humour and a way of expressing that in your content positively

  • Experience of writing, distributing and building a consistent readership

  • Basic knowledge of SEO would be preferred

  • An experience of working in social sector specifically in education would be a bonus
