Our client is the Health-tech initiative of India's largest business house. Started in 2015, it empowers healthcare providers and consumers in India. All healthcare monitoring services are made available through an app that will help connect doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, laboratories, and consumers, enabling preventive and predictive healthcare. It helps the care-givers to track the entire patient journey from the initial appointment and maintaining their records, generating lab test reports to providing virtual consultation and home-care solutions. It is expected that this futuristic guide will strengthen the doctor-patient relationship and enhance the in-clinic experience.

As the Legal and Compliance Associate , you will be monitoring changes in relevant legislations including industrial, labor and healthcare legislation and the regulatory environment thereunder and take appropriate actions for compliance.

What you will do:
  • Generating listed statutory reports at regular intervals and wherever applicable file statutory and regulatory returns/forms etc
  • Drafting all types of agreements, MoUs, including service and vendor agreements, notices.
  • Structuring responses to patients / subscribers complaints.
  • Liaisoning with Government, Regulatory Authorities and organizations statutory consultants and advisors and take appropriate actions for all Statutory Compliances.
  • Maintaining statutory books, registers, annual returns, and forms.
  • Vetting promotional material from Regulatory and Ethical perspective.
  • Any other appropriate legal service as required by the organization

Required Candidate profile

What you need to have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
  • Significant exposure and knowledge to healthcare legislation and other relevant legislation (including but not limited to industrial, labor, consumer) as are applicable to healthcare organizations.
  • Experience of taking care of compliances for a mid-size setup in Healthcare
  • Significant exposure to various corporate legal processes.
  • Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
  • Experience in liaison with Government Authorities
  • Excellent in MS Office
  • Good communication skills
