While most of the other companies provide offline solutions, our client uses state-of-art technology and AI-based solutions to offer cheaper booking options, and other offers that cover end-to-end corporate travel and hotel bookings.

Based out of Bangalore, with a young and raring team of marketing and engineering experts, spread across various cities, this 2-year old startup aims at becoming an integrated travel management company that works as a smart travel assistant. Their platform addresses travel issues for a gamut of customers ranging from large corporates with thousands of employees to other startups.

As aBusiness Development Manager (SAAS Sales), you will be a part of the Business Development Team and be responsible for ‘acquiring’ new logos / customers to rapidly increase revenue for the company.

What you will do:
  • Hunting / acquiring new logos / customers
  • Independently managing the whole sales pipeline - from lead generation - lead qualification - product presentation - negotiation - closure and contract signing
  • Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Refining sales approach and meticulously execute on it (target industries, target buyers, and target personas)
  • Keeping self educated about competitors, and emerging trends among the customers
  • Partnering with marketing, demand generation, and onboarding team to manage the customer acquisition

Required Candidate profile

What you need to have:
  • 4-6 years of B2B SAAS sales experience
  • Proven ability to achieve targets
  • Should have a track record of consultative selling
  • Strong in building rapport with customers
  • Excellent communication skills - you are a clear and compelling storyteller across written and verbal mediums
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills - you invest time in helping customers identify best solutions for their problems, and not force your solution upon the customer
  • Ability to negotiate confidently with mid & senior management folks
  • Organised and task driven (e.g., maintain logs in CRM)
  • Experience in selling to mid and large sized companies
